Deeko, here is the Browns remaining schedule:

Sun 11/25 Houston 1:00 pm
Sun 12/2 at Arizona 4:05 pm
Sun 12/9 at NY Jets 4:15 pm
Sun 12/16 Buffalo 1:00 pm
Sun 12/23 at Cincinnati 1:00 pm
Sun 12/30 San Francisco 1:00 pm

The way Pitt has been playing lately they might even win the division
Still, I see them making a good run towards the playoffs due to their schedule and their defense starting to play better.

No! I refuse to believe it. The Browns are losing the rest of their games. Its not possible that for a second time Dallas obtained a bad team's 1st round pick, only to have that bad team have a miraculous turnaround (buffalo in 2005). Bah!

As for Pittsburgh this season - I'll admit, I haven't seen that much of them, but from the numbers Roethlisberger is having an outstanding year, his best as a pro, so I guess the new offense can't be TOO deplorable.

Must be just a coincidence, right? OOoooooor you're just another Jim Rome clone.

Go eagles! McNabb! His Knees!

Jime Rome gets paid a lot more money than I do to talk about sports, so I'll take that as a compliment.

Jim Rome is a asshat loud mouth who does nothing but degrades people (insert Chris Everett Video) and has lame metaphors such as "get that in your Dome" and "listen here Drones...check out my new Bose wave radio" and regurgitates the obvious...

So I guess you two are right are a match!!!

And nice turn around on your "mid season predictions" based on all the shit you said about the NFC North and you very meticulously at refuting my claims...that the Packers were going to be decent if not good and that their defense was going to be at the top of the NFC North if not the entire NFC...your ignorant and this just goes to show that your comments and insight into football is worth less than a bucket of piss. Anyone can go to a dozen different websites and get picks from the "experts" cut and paste them...change the order around...and put in some smart ass comment to make them your own. You know what at the end of the day your still a moron...just a bigger one.

case in point...

...will do just as well if not better than the Bears by the end of the season...

They have upgraded the D-Line across the board, have just as good if not better line backers than the bears and are only lacking in experience at the safety position...

Lastly, if you are going to call me a homer and "stand by my team" guy...at least call out some of these Bears fans who are obviously BLINDED by their shear love for their team to not realize that Rex Grossman is a terrible QB and is one of the main reasons they lost the SB...who cares that he actually "played" for his first season...it isn't like he was introduced to the NFL last year. He was a QB that was in the system for at least 2 years prior so get off that excuse...
have to throw my "homer" comments in

-You are out of your mind if you think the pack's D will be on par with the Bears

-the pack's LB are better than - Urlacher, Briggs, Hillenmeyer? right

-true, he did throw some bad passes in the SB, but wasn't any different from his performance the rest of the season. The D, for whatever reason, let the Colts run up and down the field all they wanted to. Grossman did not cost them the superbowl, their safe aproach against the pass did. And if you think sitting on the sideline with a clipboard for 2 years is the same as actually playing for 2 years, your insane. I dont claim for Rex to be the second comming of god, but hes the best on the team, and they got to the superbowl with him playing everyda. If Rexy has even a average year, the Bears are back in the superbowl easy (barring any massive injuries that is ).

NFC North
1. Bears (12-4) - The most overrated Superbowl team of all time. The defense is still strong, but the offense will be worse.
2. Lions (9-7) - Improved, especially on offense. But that defense will let them down big time.
3. Vikings (8-8) - A solid defense, but no QB or WR, and only average at RB
4. Packers (6-10) - Sorry Favre, better retire soon. Make way for the future, this team isn't winning soon.

It looks like you have "I predict the exact opposite of reality" disease with an inflammation of Captain Obviousitis...

Patriots over Cowboys

Even a blind/deaf/Mentally Challenged orangutan could pick the Patriots for the super bowl...again don't break an arm champ...

I will agree with one of the other posters...this thread delivers...the sad thing is Deeko thinks people actually see him as some sort of authority figure at picking teams...

Well it is Cleveland, I guess you should expect the worst lol. I still see them winning 3-4 of their remaining games, we'll see if it is enough to get the in the door.

Biggest question for the Browns, what to do about Brady Quinn? You can't bench Anderson to find out if Brady is the real deal, you can't just trade him away either. Worst case scenario they do trade Brady and he turns out to be an elite QB, while Anderson turns out to eventually be a flop. Or vice versa, they trade Anderson and he continues to impress while Brady falls flat on his face.

They haven't been up enough in any games to give Brady some snaps, which would at least give them an idea of his capability. What would you do in their situation?

leeland, you're amusing. The best part is that people (like you) will always come back kicking and screaming when I'm proven wrong, just like you were when I picked it that way to begin with. Its pretty sad - I say a million times that I am no "authority figure" as you say, and I say just as much that I'll get plenty wrong. Yet people (like you) continue to bump the thread, continue to make such a big deal out of it. If people (like you) thought so little of my picks, you wouldn't keep coming back here. You care more about them than I do, its great.

I've already said that this year has gone pretty haywire compared to my picks, but you only pick out the "obvious" right one...how about Detroit and Arizona turning it around, or San Fran not panning out, or New Orleans taking a step back? Easy to ignore what I got right, picks that went against the "expert" grain mind you, and just point out what I got wrong, huh? Again though, keep it coming. I enjoy it.

Alistar...they're in a tough spot right now, San Diego just went through a similar situation with Brees/Rivers. What makes it tough is you've got a guy that wasn't "supposed" to be a star playing well...vs a guy that IS supposed to be a star, who is untested. How many of these highly-touted quarterbacks really pan out? Will Derek Anderson keep it up? A lot of unknowns.

In my opinion, you have to keep Anderson around for at least another year. If he still plays well, lock him up, and see what kind of trade value you can get for Quinn. Even if you have a ton of faith in Quinn, I wouldn't let Anderson walk...if you have the cap space to keep them both for now, do it, because then you can at least get SOMETHING in a trade for one of them. I believe Anderson is a restricted free agent...so if they give him the highest tender, they'd only have to pay him 2.35 million. If another team signed him, they'd have to give up a 1st and a 3rd, which wouldn't be a terrible deal for the Browns. Of course, you still risk losing him, and will he play for that amount? The franchise tag is also an option, but that's a lot more money. Also, both of them leave him as a UFA following 2008. Tough call, we'll see how he plays the end of the season.

Brees was "damaged" goods at least, it did give the front office some wiggle room if it blew up in their face. The Anderson/Quin problem is a doozy for C-Town. The last thing they, or any team, can afford is to pick one QB over another and have the one they let slip away turn out to better than the one they kept. We're not talking about a linebacker or some other easily filled position. It will be interesting to see what they decide and how it plays out.

Considering it is Cleveland here is my guess, the QB they trade will haunt them throughout his career. Either by knocking them out of the playoffs on a regular basis ala Elway, or by defeating them in their first (and any subsequent) SB appearance(s).

I read about 2 sentences in your reply Deeko and gave up with your post...I piped up just to remind you that you were wrong and to stop giving yourself so much credit where it wasn't due...putting a disclaimer that the year has been pretty "haywire" isn't a band aid for your excuses...

You getting a couple right out of 32 is like taking a hand full of rice and trying to hit a pig in the ass...a couple pieces will stick...but by no means is an indicator of your "knowledge"

I only picked the division I cared about as an example...if you wanted me to go through the whole thing I would probably be here till tomorrow...

You say your not an authority figure but you have no shortage of your "opinions" you feel the need to share with everyone...ironic.

Lastly, I don't care more about them...I just noticed the thread and figured you were up to your old self and wanted to get a laugh at your expense...I will revert back to the previous comment I made 3 months ago...

Your an idiot...if you think me pointing out your glaring inconsistencies and inaccuracies while coupling that with comparing you to someone I hate is me "kicking and screaming" you need to get clue...

It is merely a PSA that your comments don't hold their weight and shouldn't be taken seriously...and if they do they should be taken in with a good laugh cause that is all your worth.

Good show leeland, like I said on the last page, you're just like every other disgruntled crybaby that is upset that some random guy on the internet didn't think their football team would do well. I don't care what you, or anyone else here thinks about my picks. Keep those tear ducts flowin pal, it makes it all the funnier.

Yep, it will be interesting to see what happens. I think Brady Quinn has a lot of potential and couldn't believe he fell so far to begin with.

You must be a women to be able to turn the truth into your own warped impression...

The simple fact that you enjoy people replying to this thread shows how much you need a life.

That is right, step away from the keyboard, and go socialize with someone who could understand your reasoning...someone like a 4 year old...

You are confusing me as disgruntled (someone who cares what you wrote and takes offense) vs. calling out a jackass on the internet and poking holes in your shitty logic (someone who calls bullshit when they see it)...

The fact that you don't dispute my claims is proof enough...

hahah, leeland, 99 out of 100 of my posts here come at work, so you insult my social life? I enjoy this because its the same thing every year - do you think you're the first person to whine and moan about my prediction for their team, insult me, my football knowledge, my motives, and then come back throughout the year if I'm wrong? These people say they "don't care" and they're just "calling me out", but they continue to go back and find the thread as time goes on. I also find the responses funny, because people seem to think that I consider myself an expert, because I'm willing to make predictions and defend them. I've flat out said many times that I am far from an expert, people seem to ignore that.

I'm just a guy that likes to talk about football, you're the one that gets all sandy down south when you don't agree with me. Am I arrogant about my opinion? Absolutely! Am I biased? What fan isn't? Will I argue till I'm blue in the face? Without a doubt! Do I make some predictions that end up terribly wrong? Every year! I'm not sure what you're getting at here, because you're not really "calling me out" on anything I won't openly admit.

Yes, I'm familiar with the term "outing", did you learn it in your 30+ years of football experience?

I assumed you meant it referring to my "horrendous" and "unexpert" football predicting skill, seeing as he never referred to my sexuality in any way. He did call me a woman, but I don't think I really need to defend that, last time I checked I was still male.

At least you are insightful, I do in fact have a genius level IQ, 156 the last time I was tested. Even though you are young I don't have the same positive outlook for your ability to learn. While you might be happy for me, I feel nothing but pity for you.....
