It's getting where I seem to be giving Steam money 3 weekends each month. In for one.

I played through about 7 or 8 levels tonight.

I think my main motivation is to get the aliens before they get to the "cores" so I can avoid having the narrator / computer thing tell me that they've captured the cores. He sounds a lot like Dr. Brackman from Supreme Commander at times.

Now thats a game I wasted $50 on... Barely played it... $5 for this I'm in OP. $30 for L4D and this game+DOTA+TF2=plenty of fun haha

Yeah, luckily I only paid $30 for the Gold pack.

That game crashes constantly on me. I've tried so many patches and fixes but am still extremely frustrated.

I played the demo (which was my first tower defense game ever) and like it.

Too bad there wasn't a multiplayer version of this?

This is a good game at $10-$14. At $5 don't pass it up if you like tower defense.

Well I got it along with Plants VS Zombies for $10. Both games are fun and are surprisingly similar. Both feature a puzzle and strategy element for stopping AI cannon fodder except in Plants vs Zombies, instead of towers you plant plants that shoot peas ect, and you need to stop zombies from reaching your house. Pretty unique art style, very stylish and a bit funny 2D game from PopCap.

Played for about 2 hours tonight, very addictive, and I find myself restarting if I lose even one power unit...orb thingie.

Cool that it keeps leaderboard scores too.

I grabbed this right after I saw it on Steam this morning, played the demo some time ago and thought it was great for a tower defense game.

5 bux is a steal.

I had never played a tower defense game before. Dropped the $5. Surprisingly addictive. I am totally hooked. I was up till 3AM last night playing this dang thing. Forced to fire up the Red Bull at work today to stay focused.

Play starcraft on a starship troopers map. I think that was the beginning of these games, at least it was where I first saw it. You build up bunkers and put marines in it and try to kill swarms of zerg. Usually it's 4 players, each with their section.

Same here, was up until 2:45 last night trying this game out. I really wanted to get to bed by 12...

Completly worth the $5 (+ tax) I paid for it.

Not to sound like a broken record but this is my first tower defense game as well. Was very skeptical but gave it a chance and totally ended up loving it. Still $5, grab it while you can.
