After running through many missions by just doing objectives and not sticking around for the fight it occured to me that I am doing this wrong.
Once I started approaching objectives by first engaging the npcs the game became fun. The fighting is the fun part.
ROFLROFL...
i hate people like you!
im stuck cornered in a middle of a gun fight.. some guy just runs along... cuz im holding all the agro.. and poof... completes it... then just runs.... doesnt bother helping me get out of the corner...
its a quick wham bam thank you ma'am sort of deal..
Take a Shooter, MMO, RPG. Than water these down along with weak story and graphics than you get Defiance
i dont think they can go too deep into the story cuz the actions of the game is somehow suposed to reflect progress in the TV SHOW and vice versa.
Basically events which we complete in the dynamic world of the game will impact the show.
Events which happen in the show will reflect the world of the game.
By opening the entire story plot in the game before the show even broadcasted, it would kill the TV SHOW b4 it even began.
You guys incase u didnt know.
Defiance is a joint project with a game publisher and TV Show.
Its a test to take MMO to the next lvl by having it control events in a TV SHOW and vice versa.
The story is gonna be lacking.. because the TV SHOW hasnt even launched yet..
It launches April 15th.
So the story will be watered down on what we can do now.
But the makers are Trion.
If you ever played Rift, you know Trion is VERY GOOD with updates.
So u can expect good updates with the game as the TV Show progresses.
Why the launched the game 2 weeks b4 the TV Show i have no clue...
i guess they wanted to collect data on the dynamic events in the game to write future script on the show.
