I think that's it. So I have everything all setup and running pretty queit and very smoothly (it always reports temps on the CPU below 50 by the way), but now I want to try to overclock the thing just a little. But I'm having absolutly no luck. And I know that's a possibility with overclocking (you might not be able to), but I just want to make sure that I'm doing it right since I'm new to OC.
Is there any sort of guide that would walk me through the bios setup? If so, can you point me at it? I've read this whole thread, but it's long and I might have missed it - if it's in there, point me to the page please. So far, the only thing that I have done in the bios is diable the on-board audio. I haven't done anything else. Should I? Then to overclock it, I just go to "CPU Clock", where it says "Key in a DEC number" and put in 166. I would think that my multiplier is locked since I haven't unlocked it, so I don't change anything else. I just save the bios and reboot. But when I do, I just get a blank screen, so signal sent to the monitor. So that's it, I have to reset the bios and I'm back to square one.
Can someone tell me if I'm doing anything wrong? I tried to include everything I could, but if you need any more info, just let me know.
