The only specific stipulation was that it had to be bought from Amazon itself, as opposed to a retail channel linked to Amamzon (like J&R Music World.)
Maybe Kaspersky needs the cash flow - I realize I'll wait 6 weeks or more for the rebate, and that I paid 15 bucks more than what Amamzon's retail partner was selling the package for, upfront. And perhaps they're banking on the fact that so few rebates are actually claimed. Yet this still represents substantial savings over retail big-box pricing. Downloaded and installed the trial today. Seems very nice. Was formerly running Trend Micro's Internet Suite.
