Do all these scam have to get posted?
Apparently so. This makes at least 20 posted here in the last year. When do you suppose people will read the Paypal home page "Protect yourself from fraudulent emails and websites" and follow thier directions instead of coming here?
Sorry, I have a few more imprtant things to do than memorize the linkage on every website. I thought I'd do a favor and if it protected even one anandtech member, what's the big deal? Get off your high horse please...
I think you need to get of your moron horse, with it's ignorant saddle. We get at least two of these a week, and everytime, NO ONE CARES. Not only that, but if people can't even read from paypal themselves how to prevent being scammed when they sign up and everytime they log in, then I guess it's a lesson they need to learn. Maybe instead of posting about every scam, you can post a guide on how to detect scams, because simply posting one of a million paypal scams (in the wrong forum, mind you.) isn't going to do anything useful.
Hey, I find your posts even less useful, but I don't feel inclined to to jump in your threads and point it out. I didn't realize you were so smart, let us lesser beings point out a scam once in a while to eachother, and you can just go about your business of being ignorant, k? And to say no one cares would be a little bit of a misnomer, wouldn't it? There a few people who have posted in this thread who DO seem to care...
