I PM'd it at a local Staples and they only had 2 of them. But they charged $5 shipping. 2x$1.44+$5=$8.53 for 2 25pks. Did I get jipped? Did they charge you shipping for the PM?

Damn, I think I just got swindled.
I went to a B&M Staples and the lady there told me she could only match up to 30% of the price, so it would come out to be like 10 bucks a spindle and then she would still add the shipping to the price.

Got that same email today. I am planning to email them back, telling them that they are going to have to honor that price and if they can not deliver in 2 weeks, they are going to have to substitute them for a similar product. Wonder if this will work. I will keep you posted.

I'm still waiting for mine. I got the same email a week ago. I don't mind waiting, as long as I get my CDR's. I bought them with a free certificate anyways.

They don't seem to have this item on the web site any more, but a couple weeks ago the had changed the price to 11.44 even though it showed they where sold out. Guess someone forgot a 1, that's why they where 1.44

I got a shipping confirmation too, but it was not specifically for a 25 pack. Instead, the shipping confirmation described the product as:

"Imation 700MB 80Min 12X CDR Recorder Media"

...which suggests to me they are sending single discs instead of 25 packs. Then, when you complain, they'll offer you the chance to return the product for a refund. Period.

Mine still says backordered, but the shipping is $6.52. That is way to high for 3 single disks based on thier shipping table. The weight would be more like 3 25 packs as the original ad said.

I do feel sorry for amazon and the guy who made the typo probably lost his job so I can either do the right thing and cancel, or do the selfish thing and feel guilty until my 75cd-r come.
