Not suere whether or not it is stackable. I tried but it didn't work. May however have been the specific coupon I tried to use.
Guess I will try it again, have not yet decided what to get.

Anyone who has a code they're not using, I recommend you NOT post it here.
Too many lurkers who never contribute anything (think those guys who ruin
any good deal by buying in quantity to resell on eBay). Instead, do what I've done:
Offer it to the first Anandtech member with a specified status (gold, platinum, etc.)
That way, you're giving back to someone who's given...Truly SHARING the love...

When you got the drive, just go to Seagate's website and check it out by entering the product name and serial number. It should display the warranty duration and if not the same as what Dell claimed, return it to Dell!

Unforutunately it's not just the lurkers who buy up the hot deals in quantity and then sell them on eBay or right here at Anandtech. I've seen some platinum members doing the same :|

But beyond that, I agree. I've got one that I might not be using (not sure yet). If you're interested in it Kwad, let me know via PM.

Thanks a bunch for the link to the Seagate warranty page. I checked my drive I purchased at Dell (the 80 Gb, 7200 RPM),and indeed it has a 3 year warranty. A few people at AT have "claimed" that Dell's OEMs of hard drives have anywhere from a 30 day to a one year warranty. I always thought that was bullshlt. If Dell claims a 3 year mfg warranty, just make sure you copy the product page down. I'm a happy camper now I know I have Seagate's 3 year warranty. Thanks again.
