Got a 1600S with the PERC 4/SC, (which is the same as the Megaraid 320-1).
Dell apparently does not support WinXP (only server versions of win), or at the least I cannot find any drivers for it on their site.
There is a megaraid XP driver, but when I install the megaraid driver during winxp setup, it still says it cannot find any logical drives when the XP install starts (Pro, BTW).
I am running two 36GB 10K Hotswap drives, mirrored and have created the logical drive in the RAID bios.
Any ideas? I've seen some mentions of people using other drivers to get this card to work on older versions of redhat and some debian, so I am assuming somebody has tried XP.
Would flashing the card with the megaraid BIOS instead of dells be be worth a shot?
Thanks much for the help.
