what are you running your monitor settings at? It said that the optimal settings was at 1280x1024 at 60mhz, however i know it can go up to 75mhz. What do you guys set yours at? Will it damage my monitor if i have it set at 75mhz?

I run it at the default settings and it's fine. I think that games aren't bad, I've played BF: 1942 and CS and both have a little ghosting but I got used to it.

Ok. Half the people say they have ghosting, half say it's fine with very little/no ghosting. A few of the ghosting people complain it's so bad you can't play games. Now, which is it??? Is it all perception? I'm sure that's gotta be part of it.

How much does the video card come into play? Would one give more ghosting than another? Has there been any tests on this?

I just got one myself, but have yet to hook it up. I do play some games, but no FPS games. I stick to stuff like Diablo, Heroes of might & magic, Age of Empires, RPG/RTS games basically. I'll let y'alll know what I think of it once I get it hooked up.
BTW, I'll be using it on the following system:

P4 2.4gHz
512 pc1066 rdram
Radeon 9700tx w/128mb
WD 120gb hdd w/8mb cache

I think it's a little dark in CS but it's not bad. It all depends on what level you're playing in CS. Darker ones ghost around the light stuff (like lights for example) and light levels make the CS team ghost when they walk/jump.

LCD standard is 60hz. Don't let the term refresh rate fool you. LCDs don't 'refresh' like CRTs so the refresh rate makes very little difference. I actually doubt you would even notice a difference going to 75hz.

Set the refresh rate at whatever you want, LCDs don't refresh.

I play ONLY FPS'es and have no complaints about the performance of this monitor. I'm using a retail ATI 8500 Radeon with the DVI-out into my monitor. Card is not OCed. Lately I've been using the 6166 Plutonium drivers from here.

Since I got this monitor back in April I've been playing MOHAA, Hitman2, Flashpoint, Ghost recon, SOF2, NOLF2 and have not noticed any ghosting. Maybe the other guys have bad monitors, or maybe their vidcard/drivers aren't a good match? Maybe it's because I use DVI?
