That is so true to hold out or talk to another CSR I called asking them what time they close today (8PM CT) and asked the guy by the way are you still honoring the 20% off with free shipping? He said no that deal expired yesterday. I didn't get into it with him because I was only calling to see when they close.

I just tried to order...the guy would give me the 20% off but not the free shipping which sux-I'd have to pay $80 for shipping to HI. Also asked if they still have free shipping within continental US. He said they did but they aren't honoring the 20%off for non-branded items?

Everything appears to be a case-by-case basis...they won't let you have your cake and etc..

Can anyone else verify the $50 Samsung 955DF rebate at CompUSA B&M? I would go there myself today but

1) Dell closes in 2 hours.
2) I'm going to see a movie and don't have time to visit a CompUSA B&M.

$192 is even hotter!

The rebate is available at bestbuy.com as well. This is the rebate that is mentioned in their weekly ads. I've called Samsung before to ask if they would honor either of these mail in rebates the response was a simple no.

w00t !!! i just called and spoke with cody x45048 i told him my order was in my cart on friday and i put money in the bank today to order it and boom no more discount he said he is sorry and placed my order free shipping and discount came to 339.36 not bad for a 450+ monitor LOL and no tax w00t!!! EVEN BETTER!!!!! tnx for the help!!!!

What are Dell's hours? Up above it said they close at 8 CT, but Eddie posted at 9:40 CT saying he "just ordered".

Why not try calling them yourself? According to the sales rep I spoke with earlier he said their phones shut down at 8PM CT today.

I got my 20% off with no problem, but $40+ for TAX on my kodak 4800, Ouch!!! I missed out on the photo alley

Thanks for pointing out the the 955DF rebate form I picked up at CompUSA was only good on purchases from them. I guess I learned an important lesson - rebate forms from one vendor might not be good at another vendor despite the absence of any expressed vendor specific condition on the form!!!

(I deleted my message of 6:59 pm yesterday concerning this rebate form.)

I got the 20% off, I got the free shipping, and I did it on my first try with my first representitive.

I spoke with Steve at extension 69301.

Just completed my second order (3x955DF, 1x900NF) total was $1078 after 20% off, and I'll get an extra $120 off from the three rebates for the 955DF.

Dude you are a God-send.. heh.. I called up Dell today, told them I wanted the FE950, blah blah.. and then the guy said, "sorry we don't offer the 20% deal anymore blah blah..." here's where ahem.. I had to 'exaggerate' a bit and um... told them "well my friend Ross told me about this deal and he said to refer to your one of your supervisors and..." anyway.. to make the long story short.. right after that he confirmed with Chris.. haha.. thanks again Ross.. and yeah, I'll definitely get back to you on that monitor.

This was a PM I'd sent to Rossman to thank him for all the calls he's made to make this deal work thru the phone still.. the deal is still good till monday!!!!

I got my NEC FE950bk for 300$ total shipped and tax free on sat. from Joe. He gave me a little trouble, but I'd told him basically what I told Rossman I'd told him (above) and he eventually let me through. Hop on the deal while it's still alive!!!! Oh yeah.. I made my call sat. at 9am pac.

Good deal but you should have received free shipping if your order was over $100, if this is the case I would call or e-mail Dell customer service point out this error (on their part) and request they refund you the shipping charges.

I just ordered as well, did not want to wait till tomorrow to call Kim. Reached Jeremy, he also had NO problem giving me 20% off and free shipping. So, I think most of the CSR's will give you 20% off with no hassle. Also, my order number is INVALID, don't know why, maybe because I just ordered...

Lukfilm - Glad you were able to order with success because Kim is probably going to be VERY BUSY tomorrow (no thanks to me but hey a deal is a deal). Did you order another Samsung 900NF for $333?

Perhaps the order numbers are invalid online because these are "accessories" and not Dell computers/laptops?

FYI Dell accessories is open until 8:00 PM CT today, I just called and the guy said under special circumtances that they are still honoring the 20% off with free shipping. I basically told him the same stuff I told Kim, their website originally stated this would expire on 7/3 and according to my calendar 7/3 hasn't arrived yet.

uLHg182 - Sorry I didn't get his name but he wouldn't budge until I politely &quot;went off&quot; on him stating all the facts to him and throwing around words like bait &amp; switch, attorney general, customer service virtues, spoke with two managers Chris P and Cliff G (try that tactic - it should work). If that doesn't work then e-mail Kim (do not call her she is going to be very busy) and have her call you tomorrow to place the order. Everyone else here seems to have had success in placing orders today.
