Do you have a source that shows which games are in widescreen? I play WoW and BF2. I know BF2 doesn't officially support it but I think WoW does. That is part of what I have to decide on.

WoW, HL2 and Unreal 2004 all support WS. That's all that I play, so that's all that I know, sorry.

Actually just about everyone on this board says its great for gaming. I'd believe the thousands and thousands of people here before I'd believe freaking C-Net.

You can return the monitor no problem within 21 days for any reason. If you have backlight bleeding, dead pixels or you just don't like it you can just get your money back. That's pretty darn good imo, which is why I saw no risk in buying one. I love it.

Got mine for 384 shipped 2 months back, and I couldn't be happier. I use it mostly for web/email, but gaming is great. Its worth the extra setup to get the widescreen to work. No dead pixels, good for movies, great for gaming.

coupon has been out for a while and you can still get it for 436...must not have very many people biting on it...makes me wonder if this is the case that they will have a better deal at the end of the quarter (end of this month) due to the fact that they didn't make their quota.

I almost bit but i think i will wait till the end of the quarter and maybe save an addditonal "sum" of money.

hehe....CNET sucks. I don't even know why they have their website in the first place :s. They need to concentrate on their downloads. Most people with monitors without backlight bleeding are happy customers. I'll get mine on Monday - if it has a single defect, it's going back.

These monitors are great for gaming and pretty much everything. As far as the price, really, who cares? The cheapest I've seen is about $380, and I highly doubt it'll ever go below that for a long time unless it's a combo deal with a computer or something. Saving $50 isn't worth the wait IMO.
