Damnit, does this mean they're going to cancel it ?

While it is unfortunate someone called them, the ultimate reason as to why this deal is no longer around is because of the people abusing the deal in order to try and turn a profit on eBay. With reports of people buying 10+ at a time, their inventory is probably so low that they were forced to eliminate the deal. Some guy claims to have ordered 75 to sell on eBay.
If your order gets cancelled, just ask the guy who ordered ten for one. Oh right, he'll want $400 for it. Well, think about that.

Maybe next time jump on the deal sooner or stop being a sissy contemplating for 15 hours to find out dat your late.
The guy just saw the opportunity and jumped on it. If anything, instead of hating on the guy, maybe you should learn from the guy.

This deal is not so hot because of the tax for some people. For me, the monitor came out to $363.08. Price for this monitor is mediocre as it has been this price before back in July 28, 2005 on Ben's Bargain Center for $359. Sorry to threadcrap...
I would say wait a while until Vista monitor HDCP copy protection requirements settle down and Dell's new monitors come out soon. The 2005FPW will take a huge price drop then.
But I guess for others starting their Christmas shopping early, this is a great deal as the price hasn't been this low since July. Great monitor nonetheless and you won't regret your purchase.
:Q amidst all your rambling you gave me a terrific idea. Ill get this monitor for myself, and give my perantal-units my old 19" LCD for Christmas thanks

Hello,
I'm sorry to be bothersome, but from one Anandtecher to another - "Congrats on getting in on the LCD deal!" I just wanted to ask you how it was possible to apply a $100 dollar off $500 coupon with the price (after 25% discount being sub-$500). I tried calling a Dell representative, but the cheapest price they good give me was $431.67 shipped. Please help.
Thanks for your time and patience
You suck.
Next time, read the thread, plus countless others on other hot deals forums. You'll see that it was a mistake, but some of us are (hopefully) getting in on it. ITS TOO LATE.
Calling = #1 no-no of this stuff. You're calling to see if something that's not supposed to work will work? So they can flag the system and prevent anyone's orders coming through?

Anyone know how many uses that coupon has? I'd like to think this over but who knows how long it'll last hehe I'm up to the submit page at the moment...
Also what's their dead pixel policy?
You have 30 days, no questions asked. I'm in for one.
Ya unfortunately they don't cover your shipping...I'll pass at the moment I'd pick one up but with my 700m and no gaming system it's not worth it. It'll be even cheaper in a month or two when I might actually be directly in the market for one...

1st, you dont know wheather this was mistake or not. someone said this deal ended cuz dell found out that coupons were stacking even though they were not suppose to stack. but it could have ended cuz the coupon code was limited use coupon.
2nd, since when did consumer care so much them exploiting vendors? if you're one of those, y r u here @ hot deals forum? dont you think some of the deals are based on such "exploitation".
3rd, who said dell is losing money selling these at ~$334?
You jus sound like a sore loser who was too slow to act and missed out on the deal
