Can anyone comment on how this thing is for gaming? How about older games that don't support any kind of widescreen modes?

This seems like a pretty good deal. I mean, you could wait and wait for a better price but I'd rather be able to enjoy this thing sometime soon (talked the wife into OKing a purchase! lol)

it's not myth, you get fewer pixels with the 2005. that being said : if i were to purchase one, i'd definatley get a 2005, but i'm a fan of widescreen. I'd love to play wow, HL2, and even just browse my desktop in WS

sorry for yelling, but do us all a favor and dont buy it. I guarantee u that if u can wait a month or so, the price will go down. The less dell sells now, the lower the price will be in like a month or so. If no one buys now, it might be back to the all time low $350 or so in a few weeks .

Hold out until the price goes down, for all of us .

haha you're in luck, i decided to hold out, mainly cause my car is acting up and i can't spend the change on a LCD if my car needs repair

but man : i really want this screen... or a 2405 for component.. mmm component.

Newbie question.....How do use "stackable" coupons (especially on this Dell deal)? On the Dell Home checkout web page there is only room for 1 coupon code....How do you enter 2 codes simultaneously to get this $459 deal?

you can just keep cutting and pasting them into the coupon box. use the link in the original posters signature.
