I'm just wondering if 40 bucks is worth the trouble.

Wow that makes me mad; I just ordered it lastnight for 456.73. If I waited 16 hours, I could have ordered it for 414.72 and save 42.01. Could I refuse the ups package, get a refund, then order the lcd under this new coupon?

Well I called dell and they cannot credit my account the 42.01, but instead I will have to refuse the package from ups, and once it returns to their warehouse I will then receive full credit of the purchase price. Kind of dumb they couldnt just give me 42.01, but instead I have to order another lcd monitor.

After spending over half an hour on the phone with some Indian woman who I could barely understand, they told me the same thing. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to do business in this way, seems like it will cost them a lot more to have to eat the shipping charge, restock the monitor and ship out another one to me. I explained this to her, but to no avail. Since I don't really want to deal with the hassle of doing this, I let her know that I would keep the monitor, Dell could keep my $40, and they would not get any more business from me.
