Dell 2007wfp vs LG L204WT

Well I bought a Dell 2007wfp on Tues with their 14 day sale. I read about all the banding issues, but think that "should" be fix now with the A02.


The Dell isn't schedule to be delivered till Mon. but today I look at the ad and I see the LG L204WT for sale (I'm in Canada) The specs and everything looks better than the Dell, but with fewer option plugs. Its also 50$ cheaper than the Dell. Should I call up Dell and cancel my order and get the LG? Since the LG is pretty new I can't find much about it on the net.

Anybody have any opinions?

Best 20.1in WS is the VX2025wm IMO, but you'll bee happy with the 2007fpw (it's fpw, not wfp). Get it and see how you like it first. If you don't like it then return it and get another one.

The Viewsonic Doesnt Have HDCP so cross that out if you're into HD
I'm debating over teh 2007fp and the L204WT aswell but the dell has 16MS as apposed to Lg's 5
however I doubt the reviews will be as good for the LG
so Im kinda stuck aswell

I am posting on a 2007FPW/WFP (Dell has posted it both ways) A02 right now and I liek it. I came from an old PVA panel and the image quality on this is much better. This is not the greatest LCD on the market, but it does it's job, looks good, and I have less ghosting than on my old display. FOr $300 + tax and shipping I can't complain. The only monitor I was going to choose over this was the Samsung 215TW, but it was more expensive. Never seen teh LG in person so I can't comment on that though. They make pretty good stuff as far as TV's though.

I found a Samsung 205BW for 30 bucks more at Canada Computers
has 6ms 600:1 Contrast Ratio and HDCP

cant find any reviews on it though samething with the L204WT
any info to help me decide between the two would help me out alot

Well i have worked on View sonic 20" Widescreen and Samsung 20" widescreen.

I can say Samsung has much better image quality but the bad side is that it has a 700:1 contrast compared to 1000:1 on viewsonic. I think the samsung model i worked with had an HDMI port also ;(
