There are a ton of 25% DPA coupons over on heftypurse as well as eB@y ... you can get this down to $337 + tax (free 3-5 day delivery).

Call for a price adjustment spikenut ... don't take the coupon or the free printer ... hold out for the credit. The rep will eventually cave.

I got mine down to $383 a couple weeks ago, love it! First one was defective and it was a real pain to do troubleshooting on. Finally they shipped me a new one and had UPS pick up the old one. Persistance pays off If you DO need to return yours or get a new one or whatever, the fastest and easiest way is with the online tech support (the live chat thing). Phones take forever and know one knows anything about the problem lol.

The 2007 has a different base design and slightly better specs. The 2007 isn't a huge improvement over the 2005. The 2005fpw is so bright it'll burn your eyes out; I keep my brightness and contrast both at 50% (and it's next to an open window with sunlight coming in!). If you want a 20" widescreen LCD, just get the 2005fpw.

You can buy the 25% off coupons on ebay, I got mine for $2.50. Note that this is for small business, not home.

It has DVI, VGA, svideo, and composite inputs. And it has a input selection button on the bottom right corner.

Yes, you can switch between DVI, VGA, composite, and S-video. I do not believe there is component input for this monitor, but there is on the 2405 if it matters.

VGA and DVI both look great on this monitor, although DVI is obviously the preferred input.

The screen of this 2005FPW is virtually the same physical dimention (high) as the 1707FP. However, the pixel density is different, as the 1707FP fits 1024 pixels into that space, where the 2005FPW has 1050 pixels. So, there is a minor difference in the size of items displayed on the 2005FPW vs. the 1707FP.
