I've got a Dell 2408WFP on the way, and I've been considering getting an Ergotron LX mount for it.
So, I'd be losing the stand, which is where my question comes in - Can I use the 2408's stand on my old 20" (with its vesa mounting holes - and in case you ask, the 20" monitor's stand is big/crappy, it only has a tilt adjustment)? I've seen pictures of the 2408 stand and it doesn't really look like it has vesa mounting holes, but it does look like the metal panel that clips in on the 2408 can be removed.

Now, I've been searching but it's kind of hard to search when "2408 stand on other monitor" or "2408 vesa mod" gets you all sorts of irrelevant results on google.. Either a link to someone who has done this, or a better idea for searching would be greatly appreciated.
