The 4:3 ones are the monitors that match up better

(That's a 3007wfp plus two 4:3 2001fps in portrait)

Yup, I was almost about to begin daydreaming about a 24/30/24 setup but you're right, a nice large 4:3 display on each side would probably look "cleaner." Besides, I'd probably only really need/want widescreen on the center display.

Yeah, if you want something larger than the 20/30/20, then you should go with the al gore 30/30/30

That's the setup I'm aiming for!

I want to know if it would be much of an improvement over my Westinghouse LVM-37W3 , I mostly do online gaming and browsing the net. The Westinghouse is a great monitor but the back lighting is too bright even when I adjust it down to 80% or 60%. Also the Dell has alot higher resolution too.

Has anyone directly compared these two monitors? Any opinions? Thanks

20-30-20 is a pretty standard setup these days

It's not perfect pixelixel. 2560x1600 for the 30", while in portrait mode the 20" widescreens would be 1050x1680... you'll have 80 extra height pixels which may be a little weird. 1600x1200 monitors (4:3) would work the best.

Got my monitor, it's rather awesome. The colors are definitely better than my old 2405fwp, and I'm really loving the huge screen. Oblivion looked awesome with the extra real estate.

No dead pixels on mine, a couple very minor blemishes on the screen that were pretty much buffed out. I only noticed it because I was looking for it, and absolutely cannot see anything bad with the monitor turned on. Easily worth the huge discount.

I was able to pick up a 3007 from FS/FT for $600 and replace my 19". It's almost too big for a computer desk since I am only a foot or so from the screen. The quality is superb however and I don't think any of them were TN panels.
