Toolius, I think you should go ahead and call them. Even though they do not list the 3007 on their site, even the 2407 that is listed (and which I bought) had to imported from Malaysia. It's not like they have stock locally.

(For the kind of money you'd have to pay for a 30", I'd get a couple of 20" or 24" and run a dual-monitor setup, but that's because I don't game a whole lot. Lots of development/photo editing/reading articles here for which I find this kind of screen estate useful. Just a thought, and there's absolutely no reason you've got to subscribe to it. )

No it won't. Those VGA-DVI dongles just convert the physical plug shape (to pick up the analog part of a DVI-I output), they don't magically make a DVI signal from a VGA input when you're using them the wrong way round.
Dual-link btw means that the monitor requires the digital DVI signal to have twice as many data wires as usual, to feed the high resolution.

hey everyone... umm i called dell and they said they will get back to me ..hmm i've got my fingers crossed big time lol... but now if they say no my only option will be the apple 30 inch .. now i wanna know if anyone has used a apple 30 inch on a x1900xtx and has gotten into his cmos setup and also does their 30 inch only work once windows starts to load..? i know some people can see their system post.. and some cant.. its a video card issue.. so will the x1900xtx be able to show me my system Post ? any help on this is very highly appreciated...

Just use dual monitor, and use ur smaller one as the bios look up. it won't matter.



Anyone know if XBOX 360 will work on this THING.

Yep, its kinda like buying a model graphics card from different companies, they all have the same gpu, its just a matter of how hard the manufacturers push it and package it.
