I searched the Dell posts and didn't see this so...
** DELL SMALL BUSINESS SECTION ONLY**
I was configuring a D410 for a friend, which came to $1,756.00. Once I placed it in the cart, it showed a $500 off coupon and the total came down to $1,256.
Now yesterday this notebook, with the same config, was ~$1540, so it's really $300 off, not $500. They are just playing with the options like the warranty and such to make it look like more than it is. This was with a 3yr on site warranty.
Still, $300 savings is a good deal if you are looking to by a notebook.
I also configured an X1 to come out to $1,708.00 - $500 = $1,208 with 3 yr mail in warranty.
