Dell is able to provide server and servers, now they have a nice software stack in-house plus a nice cash-generating storage business. I think this deal depends basically on achieving sinergies.

Every financial outlet that has reviewed this deal frowns upon it and the effect on equity across the board. On the other hand, if you are a stockholder at EMC you'll be laughing all the way to the bank once the dividends start pouring out as they are the beneficiaries in this deal.
