sh!t man, my order must be on a major detour. still no confirmation email. i emailed them about it and got a pretty generic reply... some crap about their reps are working hard to process orders... blah blah blah. some ppl place their orders and BAM! order acknowledgement and confirmation. my order must have went to some disgruntled rep who's been slacking for two days and running.

Sorry.:disgust: Today I received an Education 20% off the 3000 WITH a P4 processor only (no celly D's) and just for the heck of it configed a 2.6 or 2.8 P4 with everything else the same (ram, flat panel, printer, wrranty, etc) and the shipped price after tax was close to $700. Cannot believe some got this deal for $229 before shipping and tax.

Ah man, good for you. I emailed that I had forgotten to click for free printers, and they said I'd have to cancel the order and then reorder. I didn't bother with that, since I would've had to find another coupon, etc... However, my two systems arrive tomorrow!

it's definitely not in my order history, and i can't pull up any order status info without an order number (which i am thinking comes with the order confirmation email; i don't see an order number on my order acknowledgment email).

Mine's been in the boxing stage since around 2am pst 7/20. A lot of people's have shipped or are already scheduled for delivery today or tomorrow. I haven't ordered from dell before so I don't know what times of the day they ship, but I hope they ship this afternoon or tomorrow, so I get it around Tuesday next week. It looks like orders from Oregon are shipped from Nevada.

Mine hasn't shown up under order status.

I have emailed them concerning it. I used the coupon that they sent to me personally (was not given to me by anybody).

The coupon just stated that there was a limit of five per customer.

This really stinks.

I just have to wait for a reply back from India (or do they still handle order status in the U.S)?

I know that I've bought a few deals in the past and then realized that I didn't need it or only needed 1 of the 3 I purchased. I was just throwing out there, that I'm willing to buy for those who don't want to waste time putting it on eBay, etc. But I love the sarcasm... thanks!

anyway, i got my order straightened out. if anyone else is having problems with their order (in my case, i never got an order confirmation email), just call them up. they are very friendly and helpful. 5 minutes and my order was processed. several hours later, it was shipped.

I've got an A95 ($216), Axim X30 ($134), Inspiron 2200 refurb ($386), this Dimension 3000 ($268), and some flash memory coming on different days this week all thanks to AT & FW members! :beer: for the OP. I got the e-mail w/coupons, but didn't think it would be such a hot deal until I saw this thread. Thanks!
