Fortunately for me, in the time it takes me to search for deals, purchase the items, fill out the forms, and make phone calls etc for sheisty price matching, I can make more getting paid to work than the average amount saved per "hot deal".
Plus, I don't feel like a stingy bastard when I do it.. I mean, hot chicks don't go for stingy bastards no matter how much money or cool stuff they have... They are still stingy bastards...

hey, first of all, I thought the drive came with a 3 year warranty?
Secondly, isn't it supposed to come with a PCI card?

from my chat with the Dell cust support they said to bring up the issue of the warranty being reduced to one year, and PCI card call sales at 800-915-3355 x43784
BTW, that software that comes with it is supposed to make the PCI adapter unnecessary. By changing the boot sector somehow.

I was worried about the two $100 rebates that I mailed in, so I Emailed Dell yesterday with this question,
"I ordered a Western Digital 200gb Hard Drive on 9/26/03 that had two $100 rebates which I promptly mailed in on 10/7/03 by following the instructions carefully. Now, I found out that there is a $200 rebate form that just came out for this drive. But it's too late as I already mailed in the two $100 rebates in separate envelopes, one with the UPC and the other with the Capacity label. Will I get my two $100 rebates? "
and Dell's reply was,
"I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please be advised both the $100.00 rebates will be processed even if you have sent them in two different forms."
So, now it's a wait and see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Whats the UPC and capacity label? I want to send one of the two in with the updated rebate and my electronic verification. All that came with my hard drive is this flap with two proof of purchase cutouts on the inside, the outside of which is a sticker reading "Special Edition 200 Gigabytes". I have no clue what to send in :<
