I ordered the drive 9/26/03 and received it on 10/6/03 and sent 2 rebates for $100 each in that I had printed on-line at the time I ordered the drive. I already sent them in the day I received the drive and followed the instructions on the rebates. Now I see they have one $200 rebate rather than the two $100 rebates. So, will I get 2 $100 rebates?

My guess would not be very optimistic, but you never know.

I did the same thing but I got my drive on Oct. 1 and sent it in on Oct. 3.

I was worried about the two $100 rebates that I mailed in, so I Emailed Dell yesterday with this question,
"I ordered a Western Digital 200gb Hard Drive on 9/26/03 that had two $100 rebates which I promptly mailed in on 10/7/03 by following the instructions carefully. Now, I found out that there is a $200 rebate form that just came out for this drive. But it's too late as I already mailed in the two $100 rebates in separate envelopes, one with the UPC and the other with the Capacity label. Will I get my two $100 rebates? "

and Dell's reply was,
"I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please be advised both the $100.00 rebates will be processed even if you have sent them in two different forms."

So, now it's a wait and see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

From this statement, I can only assume you haven't bothered to read the posts in this thread!

I made it very clear that the order date qualifies you for the rebate, and the invoice date is for the postmark requirements.

The date you have referenced, 9/26, is your order date.
The invoice date will be the same as the shipping date. If your drive has not shipped yet, you do not have an "official" invoice date yet.

Does anyone have a scan of their invoice that shipped with their hard drive? I don't really know what I'm looking for and I don't remember seeing anything in the box (I was excited just to receive it so fast).

If someone could post a scan (blocking all important information of course and it doesn't need to be a high res scan either) I would be very greatfull.
