So I got mine with the 15" screen, 30gb hd, dvd/cd-rw etc for $996 - 100mir = 896. I "found" the $100 coupan and "found" a 10% coupon.

Does anyone know about the video? is it 16/32mb and what kind.

It says it has "Intel Extreme Graphics". I think it is probably the 852GM chipset, which I guess is analogous to the desktop 845G. See here. I don't think it has dedicated video memory - I believe it is all shared with the system RAM.

You are not allowed to solicit coupon codes here (as tempting as it may be to do it!). Unfortunately you are incorrect re. the video card, at least according to Dell's web page (see my post, above); this would be a KILLER deal if you really got a 64 MB Radeon.

Can't find any info or review for this laptop. I'd like to know if it has firewire or usb2. The people over at FW mentioned that the P4 2.4GHz CPU is actually a desktop processor. I just sold my Toshiba S103 to my neighbor. Have to decide by tonight whether to get this or not.
