If you are buying this system for yourself you might want to spend the extra $50 to get the 15.0 XGA screen...

Just a thought.

Also to others looking at the system, if you get 128MB of RAM, instead of the 256MB, you qualify for a $100 MIR, which may or may not be best for you.

I completely agree, the difference in resolution is like between night and day ... it's THAT important that you spring for the 15.0" SXGA display, worth every single penny.

I would stick for myself with a 14" screen for myself since I am going to take it around with me so I don't want it to be too big.

Yep, the 14" screen on my Thinkpad does 1400x1050 and it's perfect. My laptop barely fits into my backpack as it is, I'd rather have the mobility than the extra weight.
