I have this (what people say) olden pc named: Dell insprion 531 with 4 GB of ram, a 2.33 GHZ processor and 74.4 GB hard drive with windows 10 on it. graphics card is AMD Radeon 5450. I think it has 2 GB of video memory, not sure though.

I was wondering if this PC would be able to handle a more powerful graphics thingy (processor). I want a 16 Gb graphics card or something extreme! I use lots of heavy programs: 3ds max, level editors, unreal engine, maya, Adobe creative cloud all at once. So I need a powerful card!

Reading what you want kinda shows that you probably should just buy a new computer. For one, you just don't have a powerful enough CPU and you can't upgrade to a fast enough one. For another thing, there are exactly zero 16GB consumer graphics cards, and even if one existed your PSU most likely wouldn't handle it.

Frankly, the who made that post probably thing that you're trolling. Based on what you posted, it seems that way to me too. Giving youi the benefit of the doubt, there are no upgrades that you could make to this computer to make it suitable for your work. You need an entire new computer, and not a cheap one at that.

No, I said that your post comes off as trolling because it seems a bit ridiculous. Sorry about that. I'm not apologizing for that first part though, since i don't see where I called you a man, nor how I could possibly know your gender.

is this a q8200? it's not a good CPU for gaming anymore, but, the 5450 is far less adequate, so if you can get a cheap new VGA, sure, why not? you will be able to play more games, but if you have to say the amount of money you are willing to expend, I think it's best to go with a less expensive card like a 260X, 750 or lower...

even an R7 240 would be a huge upgrade to be honest...

edit: didn't read the whole post, if you need a lot of vram, a used 7950 is probably the cheapest thing (3GB), but the rest of the system is very bad I think for this usage anyway.

Based on Google, it's probably an Athlon 64 X2

2.33 Ghz processor?

Are you sure this isn't a Dell Inspiron 530 with an Intel processor?
