Dell late rebate incentive $100

I have been waiting for months for a rebate from Dell and when I recieved a new cataloge today I called sales. I let them have it. I said I would not accept another rebate offer on any of their products. I was transferred twice and after complaining twice again I was offered a code for $100 off my next purchase and assured my rebate would be delivered within 3 business days. They must be catching H*ll to make "as stated" such "good will incentives". I'll use the $100 but not on a rebate offer. (THE SQUEAKY WHEEL GOT THE GREASE)

Welcome to AnandTech Swadly. Thanks for the Dell rebate info, this is good information to know. I'll have to give it a try if they are late with my rebate.

You probably want to post this in our rebate thread at the top of the Hot Deals forum. Just click >>> HERE <<< and it will take you there so you can post this info.

Dell has still not gotten me a $100 from 3 months ago and screwed up a $500 rebate for purchase of 5 computers. They got the order date wrong (1 day after the rebate ended even though I ordered it 2 days earlier) and sent me the wrong packing slip.

After a dozen calls a customer service rep assured me they would post a $500 credit to my original charge. Right, that was 3 weeks ago, so I just disputed $500 of the charge.

Dell has bitten off more than they can chew and their customer service and rebate processing sucks big time.

Keep records of everything you do with Dell to include verification of when you submitted your on-line order and when it was acknowledged.

I have not received my $100 rebate for the GX240 deal. They have it in their rebate system but no check yet. Been waiting for 3 months.

i JUST got my $200 Rebate from my Dell Inspirion 8100 from the end of april....
