I picked on up last deal they had. Very nice for watching anything in widescreen format. The blackbars on my 19in lcd were very annoying. Felt like even though I had a 19 monitor I was watching on a 15inch. I think the original ones had a problem with backlight bleed through, but mine looks great and it seemed to be the general consensus that the problem had been corrected. Also, I ran it in dual with my older 19in 1901fp and the whites on the 1901 looked yellowish compared to the nice bright white on the 2005. Anyway, definitely a nice monitor, I'll shut up now.

I bought a 2005fpw yesterday, $419 shipped after tax. It's on the truck and will be here tomorrow. What revision is yours AMC? I had one before that had the bleeding problem. I hope I get one of the newer ones if the problem's been fixed.

I just got my very first Dell LCD (2405fpw sorry I know this thread didn't originally mention the 24") but I just have to say that wow I am pretty floored at the quality for the price.

I can just imagine the 2005fpw, and 1905fp, etc...anyone I've talked to with a dell LCD, never really had any dead pixels upon delivery, the workmanship was pretty damn good for the price (it wasnt perfect, but more than acceptable).

So next time these coupons are active and you guys are on the fence about buying a Dell LCD, after reading all of the comments on here on other threads, im glad I bit!

It seems the coupons expired on 10/22/05 as I tried to and just finished chatting with a Dell agent who kindly informed me that the coupon expired 10/22/05 and when I went back andlooked at the first post it was right out in the open.

Bah I can never decide between the 19" and 20" everytime this deal comes up. I plan on ordering one of these lcd's one day, it's just the price difference is so great I can never go with the 20". Also I am going to college next year, anyone think having a 19 or 20" monitor will be a major problem?

There shoudln't be a choice between a 19" and a 20". The only choice, is whether to pay an extra 30-40 for the 1600x1200 instea dof the 1680x820 (or whatever the widescreen is).

I find these deals incredibly misleading.. as in having to spend a certain dollar amount more in order to use the coupon.. you can't save on a monitor purchase if you are spending 25.00 more just to use a coupon.. you take a hit on the monitor price instead of a real dollar off.
