if you're looking for the 16ms panels, you want either the planar px171

550 - 40 = 510

or the viewsonic vp171

516 - 40 = 476


but these both use the same AUO panel as the hitachi cml175, which you can get any day of the week at monitorsdirect for 469.

now, of course, if somebody had an extra dell home 10% s&p email coupon they wanted to send me, now that would be a totally different story.

still a pretty sweet deal if you want a 25ms dell branded panel.

Argh, I'm torn. Do I jump on the 1800FP now at $499, or wait and hope that it hits the $400 mark again? I need to pick it up before summer ends. Decisions, decisions ...

The NEC 1760NX is the same 16ms panel as well. I got one during the 15+15+5 for like $366, very good monitor, tho it does have 1 stuck blue pixel in the top middle of the screen. Trying to decide if its worth going through dell to get it replaced.
