I doubt you'll make much but you might get the free one for cheaper.. like say you buy 2 for example the FP1900 or whatever it's called.. well on dell.com it costs 900

so 900x2= approximately 1800 plus tax or whatever

so you sell those two for like 750 a piece plus shipping or whatever and so you get the 3rd LCD for what like 300 bucks? not bad for a 19" LCD .

Not a huge margin. I already did the math

What you would definitely be able to do if you wanted 2 LCD's but not a 3rd is essentially take your 33% (less tax) off of each monitor, and then sell off the 3rd on Ebay at that same 33% margin (possibly better). The major thing though with Ebay is shipping costs, which buyers inherently add to the cost of the monitor. I checked out the prices for ending and recently ending events, and the average price point is no where close to retail (20-40%) and way too close to the actual cost to make it worthwhile. Not worth the exposure IMO to have 3 or 4 of these expensive LCD's sitting around.

I'm pretty sure that if you are buying from the Small Business department of Dell with the intent of reselling them, and Dell finds out, you could get in trouble. I wouldn't bother selling on eBay for that reason. You never know...

Not only that, deal with Ebay and paypal costs on a $500-700 tranaction and you have a small margin getting smaller.

Go Terps UM grad myself.

Anyways, Dell can't do nothin to ya but not sell you the monitors. Tell them your small business focuses on buying hot deals off of AT forums from Dell and then selling them for a small profit on Ebay. If they don't ask you for a Federal Tax ID #, its their fault. Once they sell to you, you're free to do whatever you want with em Freedom and property rights are a good thing

I'm in Ohio (Columbus) and might be interested to splitting with you.

If you need to ask that question you shouldn't be selling on ebay.

As far as apps that could actually take advantage of two monitors... I know that having two would make my DV editing life a whole lot easier (Premiere). I don't know if the same would hold true for Photoshop, as you don't have as many windows open.

If you buy from Business with the 10% off doesn't look like you save that much. It comes out to $668 each when I price it. What am I missing?

I'm interested in a 19" LCD monitor. The one that is similar to the Samsung(With the thin Bezel). I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah. I'll be willing to buy all 3 and ship(You pay the exact shipping costs of course). Or I'll be willing to do it the other way around if you want. Please let me know if you're interested. PM me with your email address. My ebay name is tet7 so if you want to check out my rating. I've been eyeing a 19" more recently. You guys helped me make the next step. I WANT ONE!

How does the Sceptre X7G Agama compare to the Dell E171 FP picture wise? Specs are the same except the dell has a lower contrast ratio 350:1 (sceptre 400:1). Has anyone acutally seen both of these monitors before?

ahaha, you misers.

It'll be great to see the whole lot of you snatch up your credit limit's worth with intent to resale on ebay @ profit.

LOLOLOLL to the bank, when you realize you Anands have saturated the market and will be lucky to at least break even.

I don't know about y'all, but I bought 10 + 5 free = 15$ Hooray! I'm gonna be a millionare when I get through on eBay! Err, egay, so not cool to endorse ebay even though we all do it.
