It is excellent. Mine looks great even with an analog connection running at a non-native 768x1024 resolution. When I upgrade to a better computer with DVI output, it should improve to "stunning"!

I am very pleased with it, and I'm sure you will like yours as well.

$279 for a 15 inch seems too high still, I'm waiting to pick up an 18 incher at that price point. I see it coming in the not too distant future. Not trying to thread crap, just wishful thinking.

If you are wondering about these monitors do a search for 1800FP and 1900FP, the are several large threads with info about them.

This looks to be the Small Business arm of the company (separate), and at least for me, there's CA tax (not for the non- SB wing/arm), and there's no free shipping either.

did you know there was a deal for this LCD for ~$375 shipped and no tax a few months ago?

yeah, so what's the point in posting previous hot deals if you can't get them anymore? this deal right now is better than the regulat price of $600.

I just spend $320 on this 15" last week and I thought I got a good deal.

And no!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think 15" w/ DVI-D out for $279 is high.
In fact, I don't see any good LCD monitor w/ 25ms response time, 400:1 Contrast ratio, w/ DVI-D for less than $300!

There's no deal advertised for the 20", but if you put it in your cart, they take 15% off. I checked, and it's still valid. Fortunately, I was able to get one last week with this 15% plus another 15% from a small business coupon Dell emailed me.

so there aren't any coupons floating around out that at the moment that can be used with this?

if there's anything that could push this below $400, it'd be smokin.

gee... don't get mad at me because you didn't get the deal for whatever the reason. all i'm saying is this deal is warm at best!!! as i have stated.

you just need to stay on top of all these deals so you don't miss out on anything and get mad at other people because of your own fault.

Sure you can find 15" LCDs for under $200 but this is not the basic 15" er, that usually sells for $279 anyhow. This one is the ultrasharp with dvi and a screen that's less blurry (almost not at all actually) when run in non-native mode (e.g. it handles 800x600 very well)

So far you seem to be the only one getting all wrapped up in his underwear...

Sure you can wait another 3 weeks or 3 months for the satifaction of a lower price. If however you "need" (as in business need) such monitor now (i.e.: this week), this is definitely better than anything else I saw posted so far...

awsome monitor.

Yeah and the best thing is how well it handles the non-native resolutions. I set one up for a friend and was convinced that I was in 1280x1024 everything was very crisp and clear, but the icons were kinda big. So, when I checked it was 1024x768. Changing to 1280x1024 did not improve the picture a whole lot (only very slightly) and my friend actually preferred the 1024 resolution.

as you said

"awesome monitor"

all i said was "this deal is warm at best" when does that ever bother anyone? I'm just saying it to those people who think this is a hot deal and wondering if it can get any better. So that if s/he can wait, it's possible to get it for less. Just trying to help out the members to get better deals like many other who had help me.

A 1504 with dvi? That is a great price. Come on now, research first.

I've got enough for the 15" but I'm going to the Casino tomorrow afternoon. I will either live with my old 19" crt or get an 18" Dell depending on my luck.

I really want an LCD to cut down on heat in my bedroom(the 19" crt is a virtual blast furnace) and also because it would be nice to reclaim some of my real desktop back.

Thanks for the heads up on this deal!
