i have a 1702fp and a 2000fp lcd and both are awesome. i like the 2000fp the most, lots of desktop space @ 1600x1200 but side bezels are big. for dual screens - definitely get dual 1800fps

just a quick comment on the brightness/contrast of the 1800fp.. I recently acquired one and run it in analogue mode (soon to be upgraded). Personally in my decently lit room, I run the brightness at abtou 30 out of 100, as the brightness can go so high that it actually hurts my eyes (yes I calabrated the monitor and run it with contrast at 100)
had the same problem myself. it was really bright! it looked like i turned on a 100 watt lightbulb when i fired up my computer at night. I'm now running at 50% brightness/100% contrast which is much better.
I also had to fiddle with the RGB settings a bit. It was a little too "red", so now i have 43% red, 50% green, 55% blue. It may be my vid card that causing this though since i had to turn down the red and up the blue on my old LCD monitor as well.
