I too got my check today. Sigh of relief. Though it took a long time and many emails, this was a sweet deal. DELL I4K, 650 P3, with 192 megs or ram, with DVD, scanner and WIN2K for about 1300. Not bad at all. Hope you all get your checks soon. I ordered on December 11th. Also returned something causing the delay.

Ordered my i4000 in late november. Finally got the check yesterday (3/17). Delay was due to a credit I had requested. Hang in there guys.

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is already the end of week 3 in March and i still do not see
my $ XXXXX rebate check that were promised to reach me by the end of the
week. I paid around $ XXXXX for my Laptop and was PROMISED AND CONFIRMED
for my rebate check ($ XXXXX) after 8-10 weeks which was already long
overdue. This is simply RIDICULOUS coming from a company like DELL.

You are leaving me to no other recourse and choice. If i do not
get my rebate check by the 24th of March I am going to dispute DELL
charges with my credit card company and file a complain to the BETTER
BUSINESS BUREAU and the FEDERAL TRADE COMMISION of this illegal
practice by DELL.

I had all the detail conversation with DELL CSR info written
down,email correspondence, screen shots of DELL rebate promotions as
well as my order screen capture. For your information there are many
DELL customers like me that place an order on DELL computers on good
faith and never got the rebate check. we are also planning to sue DELL
in the XXXXXXXX Small Claims Court for this consumer fraud as well as
going to the media to warn the consumers. Upon investigation DELL
indeed had been punished by the COURT for illegal trade practices.

Dx-treme, why don't you quit whining and simply wait for the 500.00 check to arrive. I have listened to you rant and rave since December about your Dell laptop. Do you always throw a hissy-fit when you don't get your way?

how long do you wait...I mean I got my check(credit) but, its 500 dollars, not a few bucks. It's something to worry about. Many of you would feel the same way as dxtreme if you hadn't gotten you checks. So, he has every right to bitch and moan about not getting it in the time frame Dell had stated. Bitch on, DX-treme...maybe Dell will get its at together.

I was lucky...I told them, "Hey if I don't get something I'm going to return this puppy". As soon as I said these magic words Dell gave me an instant rebate. Before they even refused the fact that the rebate even existed. This of course was done before the 30 day period.

Nice price but got a "lemon", if those exist in the computer industry. I've had nothing but problems, see above, with this bad boy. Ohhh well can't to much now.
