I ordered a dell 8600 notebook on sept. 7 and they keep pushing back the ship date of my order. It was suppose to ship on sept 22, then they pushed it back to monday, sept 29, then the 30th, now the ship date reads oct 3! It's really pissing me off. I received an email about how i could cancel the notebook since the ship date got pushed back. The order status page says the notebook is at boxing stage, but the ship date is a week away!
I got a good deal on the notebook. The final price is 1400+ for a good configuration. I email them and they just dance around and tell me the ship date and nothing else. What should i do? Anyone have the same experience? Any advice would be appreciated. Should i call and try to get some free stuff from dell because of the delay? I will end up having to wait more than a month for a freakin' laptop.
