Hey Guys!

I just stumbled across these tonight and thought I would share. I have been keeping an eye on the refurb 30" monitors for a few weeks and they are usually $899. Tonight they have around 10 left and they are sitting at $749 a pop. These come with a three year warranty just like the new ones, and from the refurb monitors I have purchased in the past from Dell, they are pretty much like brand new monitors.

To make this deal sweeter, you can find a coupon on eBay or elsewhere for 15% off Dell Outlet Monitors. For those with DPA accounts you are looking at an extra 4% off for a total of $612 + Tax, shipping is free.

Enjoy!

Refurbs come with a 3 year warranty?

I did not know that.

Was so close to biting the bullet the other day until I read it only has DVI ports. Would of expected more inputs for a monitor of that size and possible scaling for additional inputs. I guess that's where the 3008WFP came into play. If only there were 3008WFP's, hopefully some day. /prays

EDIT: But as a monitor only, that'd be a killer deal. I'm just one of those that would want more use out of it as multimedia.

I bought mine refurb'd from Dell as well. Looks like new. 3 yr warranty. No complaints.

That's what I paid for 2405 back in the day. Very sweet. Any idea how hot it runs? I got dual 24" and they heat up my room. I might consider getting this one, but not if it's a space heater.

I never noticed any significant heat coming from it. Actually it doesn't feel hot at all when I get close to it. But your interpretation of 'hot' might be different form mine.

Where are the 15% off codes? I assume they came via email, but I looked through all of mine (Outlet and whatever) and don't see it. The usual sites don't have it either.

If they came via email, when? And what was the subject of the email?

To my knowledge you shouldn't, but you will need a pretty decent video card, especially at max/native res.

No, but you need a video card with dual dvi ports if you want to run this at the full resolution.

More technically correct is DVI (dual-link), as you don't need two dvi connectors, just one with "double density".

What's up with all the 32" and 37" Westy LCD monitors being deactivated?

it has:

one VGA input
one Component input
one Composite input
one S-video input
and the the multicard reader on the side

I love this monitor.

This started last week and it's one of the better discounts. You can use the %15 coupon to bring the price down. Coupon works for multiples if you're interested. I purchased two and it shaved off 15% for each one. Usual price is $899, normal discount is $799.

That's probably correct. I'm using an 8800GT with 512mb and running at 2560x1600.
