Dell has the PowerEdge 400SC P4 3.2HT for $748/ P4 2.8HT for $388 ($848/$448 after rebate // $748.20/$388.20 after 10-percent coupon // $727.99/$376.09 after FatCash) (basic configuration).
NOTE that the rebate is a new promotion - REBATE 44306! Add SCSI for roughly $89 more. Unlike the two previous "Free Processor Upgrade" promotions, the P4 3.2 was not included this time - however...
The P4 2.8HT basic configuration is $448 after rebate! Add the 10%-percent coupon and its $388 (and tax) for the basic configuration! Given that Intel dropped the P4 3.2GHz price to $375 this week, you could pick-up a P4 3.2 processor and have a free P4 2.8GHz processor for little more than Dell's current 3.2GHz-system price! Oh, and did I mention this is the closing week of Dell's third quarter???? Will De11 make this sweeter tomorrow or Saturday as they closeout the quarter???
In July, Dell pulled the "free 3.2 upgrade" offer about 12 hours after it was posted. Last month it was pulled after roughly 24 hours of it being posted. I didn't track the P4 2.8GHz Free Processor Upgrade, so hopefully someone can provide that feedback.

- Contrary to what continues to be posted, the "buy-back" program (as its referred to) has been modified by Dell due to abuse.
You can no longer simply sell-back components you do not want - you can only upgrade items by purchasing the upgrades
either prior-to or while you're setting-up the return, after receiving your system. Dell is monitoring this due to the large loss
they took in the two-week period before they modified the program. So if you think you're going to be able to get (scam) a
sub-$200 bare-bones P4 2.8GHz system (sub-$500 P4 3.2GHz system), save yourself the wasted time...
