It is a nice system. Of course you need put some memory and a bigger hard drive. I got this on Dec 3 for $274 + tax. Remove the 128MB memory, put on 4 Kingston PC2100 256MB DDR RAM got from black Friday. It runs at 4x133MHz. Put in a 120GB 7200rpm hard drive, sound blaster live, 40X12X48 Liteon CDRW and Maddog MX440 8X 64M DDR (for $20 from OM). It's a great system. I also tried OC acorrding to
Text. When I use Clockgen, I can go up to 3.2G with my 2.26G P4, however it is not very stable due the memory. At this speed, memory runs at 188MHz, far higher than 133MHz rating. It fraze when I run super pi program. I highest clock I can stably run super pi 4M is at 3.1G. I guess this batch of cpu are basically the same as those high clock speed cpu, but just marked low. If my memory can go higher, I probably can go over 3.2G.
Here is the record of super pi: (first few were under 3.145G, last two under 3.114G)
