No kidding about the stuck pixels.. they suck. My S330 has a stuck green pixel and it is annoying, though not enough to diminish my enjoyment of the new camera.
Some comments now that I've had more time to play with the S330.
* LCD noise - the behavior is the same as with the S110-- under low light, the LCD is very noisy and looks like crap until you take the picture. I think it is due entirely to the difference between a real-time image and a photo where the shutter is open for a longer period of time.
* Themes and Sounds - I miss the quiet beep from the S110. The speaker volume on the S330 does not seem to go low enough (it goes: off, not quiet, loud, louder, really loud, loudest). The nature and techie themes are silly, but it is nice that you can mix and match the startup image and sounds effects. The zoom lens seems much louder than the one on the S110.
* Buttons - Switching from the S110 took getting used to, but it is an improvement. You can delete images with one press from each thumb. Image zoom/pan is fantastic.
* Menus - The ability to turn off options like digital zoom, AI autofocus, and auto-ISO is very welcome. Plus the new AF and Exposure locks make this great for anyone who wants a little more control.
* The viewfinder still shows a noticably different picture than the LCD, which is unfortunate.
* Recording - I'm not likely to use the voice memos. And I don't plan to record many 4 second movies either. But the sound is decent and definately works if you don't have a computer or TV handy.
The jury is still out on the battery life and improved flash, but overall I am glad I upgraded. I had the $280 S110 from last fall's OfficeMax deal and got six good months out of it. For $60 more, this was well worth the upgrade, even though it is still a 2.1M camera. Way to go, Canon!
