I've never done an amex pm so I'm a bit hesitant. personally I think it's min. 128mb CF card or nothing, so my deal would be something like this:
S330 + 128mb CF card at Amazon = $400 + $60 - $25 (mem card discount) = $435
I don't know the rules on pm'ing with amex, such as if they care if it's in stock or if they include shipping, but assuming no to both:
pm to eCost's $356 = $44 savings = $391 total
I also noticed that the S330 is showing up as in stock at dell.com, but you know by now to take that with a some skepticism. assuming it is shipping, you have this deal:
S330 + 128mb kingston CF card = $400 + $58 - 10% - $10 coupon = about $402 (for me at least)
that's $11 more than amazon.com, without the hassle of a pricematch and the risk of getting a pm refused, but who knows when you'll get it. like I said, I've unfortunately never taken advantage of a pm so I don't know how much of a sure thing this is.
also, beststopcamera.com has the S330 for $344, bringing the final cost with pm to $379. shopphotoking.com has it for $349, bringing the cost to $384. but this is not counting shipping in the total cost.
for comparison, the S200 was $290, getting a 128mb CF card for let's say $55 would bring it to $345 total. with the best pm of $379, that's only $34 more, I think it's worth it for 3X zoom and faster delivery. any thoughts?
