I talked to the Dell CR and she told me that the S200s are IN STOCK now, according to her database. I had to call them because my order was canceled, when I know I called them to tell them I still wanted the camera shipped.
the SAME stinking thing happened to me too!!! i checked my order status like half an hour ago and it showed CANCELLED!!! i had a feeling this would happen. i emailed them to request continuation of the camera as well! and this was the same day i received that "cancellation" email. i ALSO called them the day after to specifically follow up and request that the order not be cancelled.
anyway, i called Dell again this morning and talked to another CSR - he told me that they had not submitted the request to "continue" my order in time to the manufacturer and that my order was inadvertently cancelled. at this point i was pretty pissed and was explaining to him that i emailed AND called the day of and after i received that cancellation email to continue this order! at first, he didn't seem to want to do anything but i wasn't gonna let him get him get off the hook that easily. anyway, after minutes of arguing, he finally reinstated the order and i supposedly have a new order at the same price and everything: $289.10 - i'm glad he realized THEIR screw-up...
i also asked for an ETA, but he couldn't give me one AT ALL... i'm still assuming the ETA will be end of month or early next month. i don't mind waiting, but i do mind when they screw with the order >: (
