I just received my memory sticks and the number ends with 133E1.D does it mean mine is CAS3 and not CAS2?

generic sucks, they are high density and is not compatible with most motherboard that don't support 512meg in each slot or higher.
not to mention shipping is 11 dollars for the first stick plus 5 buck additional module.
so look for low density on pricewatch and is 20 bucks x 4 = 80 + 26 bucks shipping or more is like
106+ for this deal.
i shoud have ordered 8 or 10 or more but they be collecting dusts, 4 is already plenty for me.

Plus $18 Sdram is generic - not Micron

I got my 2 gigs today. I ordered with the free shipping and they shipped it fedx, only took one day. Now just waitin for 256 meggers to shoot back up to over $200 again, so I can egay em and get rich!!!!!

i ordered 2 sticks of 256mb pc133 2 weeks ago or 3wk ago but my CC expiration was entered incorrectly so my order was cancelled! bummer! it was a very good deal too i called them and they said it was cancelled but they weren't clear why but this time, they sent me a notice so i got it fixed and have them process it for the 2nd time with correct CC information, 4 sticks of 256megs of dimm is processing for real this time, can't wait to get it. they said that my CC or bank is not accepting their authorization lol but that's not the problem.

With the money I spent on crucial memory special from anandtech 2 week ago for 4 sticks of 256 pc133 cas3 for 104 i could have gotten 7 from dell instead! what a fool I am, dell rocks. I may buy more in the future like some have here, there's never enough. peace.

very weird... i never have gotten an email confirmation and i've emailed dell support asking for assistance, but havent received a reply from them yet, but my MMC memory that i ordered showed up today (ordered monday afternoon). from the packing slip i was able to get the order number and look up the status.

**Dell has the WEIRDEST Order Status page i've ever seen**

it shows my order as being "in production" and expected ship date as 11/29/01. if i try to register my order number so that i can be emailed when it ships, it says that my order number is too long and that dell order numbers have only 9 digits (mine has 11).

has anyone else ever experienced this with dell?

FedEx just delivered my 256 MB stik. Looking at Sandra this appears to be the best memory I've ever had in my system! cas2 to up to 100; cas3 to 133. Better than the 128MB I got from micron a coupla months ago and 1/2 the price! this IS also micron btw. This is my second order with Dell; first was an ibm 40gb 7200 for $78. You have to jump on the dell deals as soon as you can because they can't be beat imho.

That must be generic brand with dumped under-standard micron chips on low quality PCB, poor soldering process, with low standard QC.

ok people I just got my memory from fedex. I only got 1 confirmation from dell about my order so I thought it got lost in typical Dell fashion on good deals. The reason people are getting there RAM so fast and without confirmations from dell is because you are getting rebadged CRUCIAL/MICRON RAM direct from Crucial. My package looks just like crucial packaging except it says Dell...It's identical even the box. Also Dell doesn't ship FedEX only UPS.

You're right about the memory coming directly from Crucial. The package is drop shipped from Boise, Idaho. About Dell using UPS and not Fedex. Not true. I've ordered approximately a half dozen times from Dell this year and all came Fedex.
