Dell replaced Pentium with Celeron?

I'm in the UK and a couple of days ago I saw an advert in the newspaper for the desktop XPS for £1200. Apparantly 'built for gamers by gamers' with one of the new P4 560 prescotts, 1GB DDR2.....and oh yeh a ATI X300SE for extreme performance!

BTW, The SE version of the X300 signifies a 64-bit memory bus. Enough said.

A gaming PC worth £1200 with a X300SE? ie. a 9600SE!

My point is that PC shouldn't even be called a gaming PC and yet it is...!

Some gamers already have high end cards, it's all about choices....

These commercials are subsidized by Intel. If Intel wants Dell to say Centrino, that's what Dell says. If Intel wants to advertise Celerons -- they ask vendors to say Celeron......... It's all about money.
