i have an old 2005FPW (20 inch) monitor

just wondering if anyone thinks 24 inches is too big and can cause eye issues?

Thanks, I saw this in another post, but finally pulled the trigger. My price was $217 shipped. I didn't get the Dell Discount thing...but added my 7% EPP discount...

I'm just sad about the $16 recycling fee...oh well.

I'm hoping it's a nice monitor.

I find that any modern LCD display, and the LED backlit displays are all bright enough (when set to their highest brightness) to burn your retinas clear out of your head.

It just arrived, even though estimated delivery date was like June 25th. I checked the tracking number, and they estimated the 19th. Dell products arrive really fast...

Haven't opened it yet. Will open + take pics later today.

Mine just arrived as well after ordering it Tuesday. Looks good so far. I wish they didn't make the inside of the bezel shiny. It reflects the screen and is kind of annoying. Looks awesome though, overall I am happy with it.

Taking the 20 seconds necessary to put your old toilet paper roll into the recycle bin rather than the trash can will make a bigger difference.

This baby is a good upgrade from my Sceptre 20.1" LCD. Had some problem getting the DVI port to get the signal first, though. Not sure if that's anything to worry about.

Can anyone who has this monitor chime in (if they experience the same DVI problem at first). Thanks.

I did not experience this problem. Mine worked with the VGA and the DVI. Have not tried the HDMI yet.


Also, the price has went up $20.

No HDMI...the 23" was a $70 add on for a build I just did and the 24" $140...I went with the 24" solely because HDMI. If the 23" had it then I'd have picked it. There is nothing else other than the 1" and the HDMI input that I could tell different about these two panels.
