I have an old Dell SC400 purchased after a great deal in 2004. I had been using an AGP card, and the fan got to be very noisy. After removing and replacing the card, i am getting no signal on my monitor.
I have checked the cable using both HDMI and VGA, and tried to different cards. A regular PCI card works fine.
Is there any way to further check if it is indeed the AGP slot, and any idea how to fix beyond replacing the system board? (They are about $80 for a refurb and I am debating if it is worth it).
Thanks
