Damn I shouldn't have ordered my 4500 a week ago. I was able to stack the new $50 off any 4500 and 10% off coupons together and get my system for $489.18 after both coupons, eBates and $100 MIR. I paid $568.46 for the exact same system, a $79.28 difference.

Actually if you open a FedEx personal account (all you need is a cc that's it, you DO NOT have to be a business) you could enter FedEx and your account number during Dell's order process, shipping would only be around $45 or so. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You might want to call up Dell, because according to what they write, the offer expires on the 31st and is applicable to the 4500. Here's a copy-and-paste from what they write:

QUESTION: Can anyone who currently owns a 4500 tower comment on how quiet they are? I am considering buying this comp for a home theater PC and need it to be almost whisper quiet(i.e. How is the fan noise? CPU fan, graphics fan, power supply fan?)

Free shipping worked for me too. Total was around $360 (340 + 20 tax).

Be sure to opt for the 1 free DVD-RW media (not drive!), it's one of the many options.

This is a big concern for me also and I've heard that it's very quiet. I'll know today or tomorrow or Saturday whenever my system arrives.
