Dell Studio 17 vs. 15

I'll be taking it to college with me soon.I'm leaning towards the 15 because of the space and memory but the 17 has the better video card and larger Display for my movies and occasional gaming.

maybe you can get the 17 + mini 9

they have a deal where you can buy one of the higher starting configs of the studio laptop and add a mini 9 for $99.

if you can afford it...

even 15" is big for bringing around.

No my budget is pretty tight...at any rate I think I will get the 15 at this point just because it's lighter.

May be worth a look. 1440 x 900 in a 14" screen, HD3650 w/1Gb, 200 grams lighter than the Studio 15. Don't know about build quality, since I've never owned an Asus (apart from the abysmal Macbooks - contract manufactured by Asus). The Studio 15 is a solid machine though.
