If you bought the Ultrasharp last week from Small Business for around $790 to $800 (depending on how much tax you paid) Call up DELL and get credit back! I just called and was issued a $67 credit. They might try to tell you that you need to return your current monitor to DELL Small Business and then buy it from Home for the lower price. I just said "Sure! No Problem!" The lady on the phone hesitated a little bit and was like "Tell you what ... how about I just give you the credit." I'm sure they're trying to get people to opt out of the credit by making it seem like a hassle to get. Just be polite and firm about it and it shouldn't be a problem. Afterall, if you do return your monitor and repurchase that's more of a loss on DELLs part since they now have a refurb to sell.

I feel your pain. I had just ordered a new fully-loaded computer & will go buy a digital camera tomorrow. Really made me hesitate to jump on this, but I've been in the market for a nice big LCD for quite a while and couldn't resist this deal. My resistance is crumbing. If the 2001FP can display in portrait mode, I'm toast. The specs make that almost impossible to figure out (no reference to pivoting or portrait mode except in the height specs). Can somebody who has gotten one tell me if this thing will display in vertical, portrait mode?

One of my friend's has one and you can just rotate the monitor on it's stand and it goes to portrait mode I think.

Now the $64 question: $750 for a new one or $686 for a refurb?? I don't mind refurb at all; I've gotten them before. But I'm wondering if there's anything about this screen, like leakage or off-color patches, that would make a refurb a little more risky than usual.
