Do you have to charge the purchase with an American Express card if you want to use the certificate?

EDIT - does anyone have any reason to believe that I will be able to score a 2005fpw significantly cheaper after Christmas?

My 2005FPW was delivered to the house yesterday.

Only one dead pixel and hardly any backlight issue that I can see. The dead pixel is in the upper left corner and is only noticable when the background is solid black.

The monitor is one of the clearest screens I have ever seen. I can't believe I waited this long to purchase an LCD.

BTW - I play mostly games on my machine and they have never looked better. Doom3, Call of Duty, and Half-life 2 are amazing in widescreen. 2 thumbs up on this deal!!

Wow, I see your point, they go for about .99 at first and then jump to 50-70 dollars. I'd be hard pressed to win any of these auctions.

Which confuses me, because the max resolution is 1600 x 1080, which is not 16:10, it's 16:10.8, so nearly 16:11.:Q

Good luck asking for a FREE AMEX coupon. Those usually go for $50 at least over at thinwallet, but hey, you still save $100.

Anyway, got my 2001FP two days ago and hooked it up yesterday, everything is fine except for a stuck on pixel right in the middle. I'll probably just keep it since it's only visible on dark background, but I'll probably just send a complain email and see if they give me some good stuff.

I wasn't asking for a free one...I offered an INTEL RETAIL EDGE code, which I haven't seen anyone give up (and are worth a good bit as well)...I also offered any number of flat panel codes to go along with it....

Just a quick question... my 2005FPW (actually, for the wife - I get her old 2000FP to go next to my own 2000FP ) came via UPS Friday, but when I opened it up, the standard VGA cable (blue ends) was already attached and it wasn't bundled like the others (or even in a bag...). Does this mean it was a refurb?

After seeing this, I was kind of concerned that we did get a return and after hooking it up I noticed a green 'stuck' pixel near the center of the screen. Could this be why they returned it? How many dead pixels do you have to have before Dell will accept it back?

Thanks!

I got mine two days ago, it had the VGA cable already attached as well, pretty sure that's standard. I also have one single stuck green pixel just to the right of center. I doubt that's enough reason for them to take it back. Overall I am happy with mine even with the one stuck subpixel.

Thats what they used to test the montior, you can always return it though.

FYI,
there's a new stackable $40 off $425 code out.

Can you PM it or give me a link too it?

I tried the coupon, it *expired* after 2500 uses. I'm still waiting for the $45 coupon to come out. So far that's the most I've seen. Has anybody seen a $50 coupon or more?
